What Are CLEP, DSST, ECE and TECEP Exams?
CLEP, DSST, TECEP and Excelsior Exams (ECE or UEXCEL) are designed to test your knowledge on a specific area of study. Each exam will test you on the material from one full semester, some 2 semesters, of a college course.
You do NOT need to take the course to pass the exam, but you will need to study. The good news is that our study guides and sample quizzes based on the actual exam that will get you prepared. If you put in the time, you can easily pass these exams at a fraction of the cost and in a fraction of the time that you would have to spend on an online college class. CLEP (College Level Examination Program), exams are given through the College Board. They are usually lower level exams but a lot of them are rated for 6 credits.
DSST, also known as DANTES and ECEs or Excelsior exams and TECEP Exams are both lower and upper level exams, ECE has a full nursing program that can be finished with exams.
CLEP, DSST,? and ECE exams are available at locations all over the United States. ECE and DSST? exams are also available globally. TECEP exams are now taken from your personal computer from anywhere you have an internet connection. It is important to check that your school will accept the credits before taking any college level proficiency exam or with your degree planner.
